Chief Master Sergeant (Ret) Eric L. West, currently serves as the Aerospace Science Instructor for Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) at Sanderson High School, in Raleigh, NC.

   Throughout his 30 years of service in the United States Air Force, Chief West endeavored through numerous joint, tactical and strategic communications assignments and deployments, as well as leadership appointments at the squadron and MAJCOM level supporting the nuclear enterprise. Additionally, he deployed in contingency operations that includes Operations UPHOLD DEMOCRACY, VIGILANT WARRIOR, JOINT ENDEAVOR, SOUTHERN WATCH, and IRAQI FREEDOM.
